Junxiong Zhou is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center for Data Science and Environment at UC Berkeley (DSE). Junxiong focuses on understanding the climate change impact on livestock globally. His work aims to address serious conflict between increased demand caused by population growth and potentially reduced livestock due to climate change, thus better adaptation to future climate warming.
Prior to Joining DSE, Junxiong obtained his PhD degree in agricultural engineering from University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Master’s degree in cartography and geography information system from Beijing Normal University, and Bachelor’s degree in remote sensing science and technology from China University of Geoscience.
