Lucia is a Postdoctoral researcher with the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center for Data Science and Environment at UC Berkeley, where she supports the National Park Service Climate Change Decision Support project. Lucia studies the impact of climate change on ecosystem regeneration after disturbances, including wildfires and human-made disruptions such as armed conflicts.

Maya Zomer is a postdoctoral researcher at the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center for Data Science and Environment at UC Berkeley. As a plant ecologist, Maya focuses on the intersection of post-fire recovery and climate change, contributing to the National Park Service Climate Change Decision Support project.

McKalee Steen is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and a PhD candidate in the Environmental Science, Policy, and Management Department at UC Berkeley. Her work sits at the intersection of Indigenous Environmental Studies, land use change studies, and spatial data science.

Ethan Aquino is a veteran and a junior at UC Berkeley majoring in Environmental Sciences, and an undergraduate researcher with the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center for Data Science and Environment (DSE). He is passionate about leveraging technology to create innovative solutions for environmental restoration.
